Freestanding Laundry and Dishwashing

Our expert delivery team can install your freestanding washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher when it is delivered to make sure you are up and running as soon as possible.

Here's what our expert delivery team will do for you:

Unpack the appliance and, if applicable, remove the transit bolts from the rear of the unit

Connect the appliance to an existing water supply and waste pipe

Plug the appliance in to your existing power supply

Adjust the feet to ensure that the appliance is level

Dispose of any packaging if requested

This service is available in all North West postcode areas.

Please double check the following before you order:

☐ Make sure that you have measured your gap correctly. You will require 5mm clearance so please be sure that the space is at least 5mm larger than the manufacturer measurements.

☐ When taking measuring the depth of your space remember that the majority of manufacturer dimensions do not include the control panel knobs and dials. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

☐ Make sure you have an existing water supply, waste pipe and electrical connection no more than 1.5 metres away from where you intend to have your appliance installed. See T&Cs

If you are planning to purchase an integrated washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher we can eliminate the hassle you may encounter when attempting to replace these specialist integrated appliances. Leave it to our experts who fit lots of these every week to ensure you are back up and running as soon as possible without the stress.

Here's what our expert delivery team will do for you:

✔ Remove the bottom kick plate/plinth from the kitchen units if removable

✔ Remove the kitchen furniture door from your old appliance

✔ Disconnect and remove the old appliance from the housing unit

✔ Unpack the new appliance

✔ Connect the new appliance to existing pipework and electrics

✔ Attach your kitchen furniture door to the new appliance

✔ Adjust the feet to ensure that the appliance is level and attach fixing screws and brackets where required

✔ Dispose of any packaging if requested

This service is only available in selected postcode areas. You will not see the fitting option at checkout if it is unavailable in your area.

Please double check the following before you order:

☐ Check the condition of your kitchen furniture door. If our fitter has trouble attaching new fittings due to poor furniture condition, we may not be able to re-attach the door for you.

☐ Make sure that you have measured your gap correctly. You will require 5mm clearance so please be sure that the space is at least 5mm larger than the manufacturer measurements.

Make sure you have an existing water supply, waste pipe and electrical connection no more than 1.5 metres away from where you intend to have your appliance installed.

☐ If the space you wish us to fit the appliance is a new please make sure that joinery work and/or holes for pipes have been previously made through the side panels underneath your worktops to give adequate space to thread through cold water pipes, a waste water pipe and a 13 amp plug. These holes need to be approximately 5-10cm in diameter, depending on the type of appliance.

☐ Please ensure that there are no gas pipes or water pipes that run around your kitchen skirting boards which will stop us from pushing the appliance back in to its required position.

☐ When choosing an integrated dishwasher please keep in mind that fully integrated and semi integrated models take a different size kitchen furniture door. Semi integrated dishwashers have a visible control panel on the front of the appliance and require a shorter door. A fully integrated dishwasher hides the whole front of the dishwasher and requires a full height door. You need to order the correct type of dishwasher or you will need to alter your door or even purchase a new door. See T&Cs

☐ Do you require a 50/50 or a 70/30 split fridge freezer? The dimensions of the doors will differ in size so you need to be sure you measure the height of your existing doors and check against the new product you are planning to purchase.

☐ Do you require a sliding hinge or a fixed hinge? If you look at the fixings on your existing door you will be able to determine the difference between these two designs. Please refer to our useful guide to help you.

☐ Check that you have an existing gas or electric supply. (Gas cookers will also require an electrical supply to provide ignition.) The supplies must be no more than 1.5 metres away from the space where you intend to install your appliance.

☐ Gas range cookers will require a larger diameter gas supply already in place if you are upgrading from a standard size cooker. Please refer to the product manual for the requirements.

☐ Do you have the required ventilation in the room where the gas appliance is to be fitted? You will need a window or a door in the room for ventilation. If you do not please opt for an electric cooker instead.

☐ Electric cookers will usually require a 32 amp supply to a hardwired socket. Your socket will indicate the power rating. If you're unsure what kind of socket you have please refer to our guide.

☐ Check your product specification prior to purchase in the user manual on our website. The amp rating will tell you if you only require a 13 amp socket. If the rating is over 13 amp, you then require a 32 amp hardwired socket.

☐ Do you have any items that aren't heat resistant within the 'Hot Zone'? You will not be able to safely install your appliance if you do. Please refer to our diagram and explanation to help you.

☐ Check dimensions on any overhead cupboards. If your chosen cooker has a lid, will you be able to open the lid? See T&Cs
